Alternative Services – Oregon, Inc. (ASI) is a reputable non-profit company that has operated in Oregon since 1989. Our industry has changed in many ways in the last 25 years, and ASI is always on the forefront of progressive supports. All of the decisions we make are made with the individuals we support as the first and most important part of ASI. Supporting people to experience meaningful lives is our mission, and to do this we seek employees that share our same values.

What You’ll Learn

By coming to work for ASI, our employees are able to experience firsthand quality supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The most important people we employ are our Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s). DSP’s are the critical component that will make a person’s day more meaningful. They hold the awesome task of ensuring that the person they are working with has their choices fulfilled, and that all components of their health and well-being are met. Who We Employ

In addition to fantastic Direct Support Professional’s, ASI also employs Home and Employment Managers, Assistant Home Managers, Program Managers and Behavior Specialists. In most cases, these positions are filled by Direct Support Professionals that have shown the leadership and abilities to advance within the company. These positions are essential in ensuring ASI provides the type of supports we strive for.

Stability is important for any company, but it is imperative in a company that is providing supports and services to people. ASI is fortunate to have an Executive Director that has been with ASI for 24 years and a Clinical Director that has been here for 22 years. They bring to the table experience and expertise that makes ASI a unique company to work for. In addition to their longevity, the other Directors and most of the Program Managers have been affiliated with ASI for many years.
